Financing Options
For some cases, financing may be available. We understand that sometimes problems need solving before the funding is available, and we’re happy to work with clients to form a financing option for legal services if the situation warrants it.
If you think you may need financing for your case, give our team a call or send a message to arrange a consultation and get more information on financing options available.
Payment Plans
For complex and/or ongoing cases, we may offer the client the ability to make payments on an agreed upon schedule. Payments can be made online monthly, and we will send invoices that can be paid through:
- All major credit cards
- Checks & Echecks
- Bitcoin
- Zelle
- Venmo
Retainers
Occasionally, your case may be best handled through a retainer, which is paid upfront to cover the expected costs of starting a case. Retainers are an easy way to ensure your case is covered and will be handled effectively until resolved.
In your consultation, we’ll discuss how your case will be billed and whether a retainer is required for your situation.
Contingency
For some cases, especially personal injury cases, a contingency payment structure makes the most sense. Contingency payments mean that the client is never billed upfront and that the legal counsel will only be paid if they win the case.
If the case is lost, no fees will be collected by the lawyer, though you may still owe court costs. If the case is won, the lawyer’s fees are deducted from the awarded amount, and the leftover award is distributed to the client.
Flat Rate
For many estate planning, probate, and business cases, we offer a flat rate that means you’re never surprised by a bill. We’ll discuss the total amount due in the consultation, and once work is complete, the client will pay the entire amount in one sum.
