Estate Planning Services

Wills and Trusts

We custom create wills and trusts for all sized estates at a flat rate, so you’ll never be surprised at your final bill. Our estate planning attorneys can ensure that your property and wealth passes to your loved ones with minimal taxes and fees, and we provide the notaries and witnesses to quickly register your will with the state.

Directive to Physician

Also known as an Advanced Directive, this legal document states whether you would like life-saving treatment in certain cases, which can include scenarios like life support after brain function has ceased.

HIPAA Release

This legal document lets you designate who should have access to your medical records, and we often create this document alongside a Medical Power of Attorney for most clients.

Revocable Transfer On Death Deed

The Transfer on Death Deed a new legal document named in the Texas Estates Code that lets a person or married couple name who will inherit their property upon their death, and it allows the property to pass directly without costly probate.

Declaration of a Guardian

Similar to a Power of Attorney, a declaration of a guardian names the people that you would like to act as your agent on behalf of you and/or your estate if you are incapacitated.

Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney names a person who will act on your behalf legally, and it can take effect immediately or our estate attorneys can name the circumstances that make this document active, like losing consciousness.

Medical Power of Attorney

Similar to a Power of Attorney, a Medical Power of Attorney names who you would want to make medical decisions for you and can limit their decisions to those you’ve pre-approved.

Appointment for the Disposition of Remains

Often, families can disagree about what happens to the remains of their loved ones, and an appointment for the disposition of remains names the person who has the final say in what happens to your body.

Why Pay for Estate Planning Now?

Reduce Costs.

The cost of transferring assets undeclared in a will can quickly stack up. By creating a living will, you can save on transfer fees, taxes, and court costs.

Quality of Life.

Our estate planning attorneys can create legally binding documents, like a Medical Power of Attorney and Directive to Physician.

Distribution of Wealth.

Estate planning attorneys will help you name your executor or executrix of your will and create a plan for any minors or relatives that will need continued care.

Reduce Taxes.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act from 2017 changed the estate planning process, and our attorneys can advise you on how this might affect your ability to give away your assets before and/or  after death.

Experienced Litigators

Avoid Probate and Reduce Costs for Your Loved Ones

The cost of probating an estate with no will is much higher than the cost of making a will. Probate is what happens when a loved one passes away without a will in place. Our estate planning attorneys are skilled at building cost effective wills that transfer your assets quickly.
