Morgan Riemer – Associate Attorney
About Me
Attorney Morgan Riemer is an Associate Attorney at the Oxner Legha Law Firm primarily focusing her legal practice on Business Litigation, Civil Law, Civil Litigation, Consumer Rights, Debt Defense, Personal Injury, Storm Law, and Insurance Disputes.
Morgan was born and raised in upstate New York. She moved to Texas and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Baylor University. During her time at Baylor, Morgan competed on the women’s lacrosse team while also working at the local YMCA. Morgan then graduated Magna Cum Laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. While in law school, Morgan first served as an Associate Editor on Law Review and was then elected as the Lead Articles Editor for the Editorial Board. Morgan also tutored Torts Law and worked as a research assistant to Professor Walter T. Champion. She spent her summers interning at Oxner Legha Law Firm, Lone Star College’s General Counsel, and Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office. Morgan graduated in May 2020.
While at Oxner Legha Law Firm, Morgan has been on a trial team where the attorneys obtained a six-figure judgment for her client. She fights for her clients, which was especially apparent after the February 2021 Winter Freeze when insurance companies were refusing to pay on claims. Morgan successfully put hundreds of thousands of dollars in her clients’ pockets based on wrongful denial of insurance coverage.
Morgan enjoys spending time with her family and many pets.
